After an intense and deeply inspiring week in Barcelona participating in the Health Revolution Congress at the iconic Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau, the blue route team is looking back to process everything we experienced.
This tour, which kicked off with the high energy of 4YFN, marks the closing of a fundamental chapter for our project, cementing our place at the heart of the MedTech evolution. The path toward digital health transformation cannot be walked in an isolated laboratory; it is built by sharing visions, joining forces, and, above all, listening to those on the front lines of patient care.
Validating Technology Through Clinical Rigor and Pediatrics
At blue route, we develop a digital platform for screening and optimizing clinical workflows to redefine early identification and guidance in neurodevelopmental disorders. However, we know that digital tools are meaningless if they do not respond precisely to the reality of medical consultations and the human needs of families.
Because of this, one of the most enriching milestones of our time at the Barcelona & Madrid Health Hub was the privilege of having first-hand conversations with leading figures in children’s healthcare.
Learning Alongside the Pediatric Unit at Sant Joan de Déu
Speaking with professionals from a world-renowned institution and a pioneer in pediatric hospital innovation allowed us to contrast our vision. It served to reaffirm the true value of structured data and to understand how technology can be seamlessly and ethically integrated into the daily workflows of medical specialists.
Humanizing Technology Over Generic Solutions
Conversations with clinical experts left us with an absolute certainty: the medical community is not looking for tools to replace human judgment, but for solutions that empower it. During our clinical debate, we analyzed the limitations of current digital tools. While traditional hospital communication boards are vital for acute patients in critical environments, they are incredibly limited when applied to the daily language development of a child on the Autism Spectrum (ASD). Neurodevelopmental challenges demand specialized, dynamic systems.

Optimizing Timelines and the Real Impact on Families
Time is the most valuable asset in early childhood neurodevelopment, where every single month counts. Crucial resources currently exist, such as national NEAE grants (Needs for Specific Educational Support) or various regional financial aids designed to cover essential therapies. However, bureaucracy and long waiting lists to obtain official clinical reports often slow down access to these benefits.
Breaking Down Bureaucratic Barriers
Our mission is precisely to transform this scenario by streamlining the preliminary collection of behavioral milestones from both family and clinical environments. By digitalizing this process and adding objective rigor, we help accelerate identification timelines so that precise information reaches medical and educational specialists much faster.
Alliances for a Stronger Ecosystem
The congress also allowed us to strengthen ties with the ecosystem. During meetings promoted by networks like CEEI Asturias and Agencia Sekuens, we connected with innovative local projects like CuboLab (from the University of Oviedo), exploring synergies on how technology and gamification can enrich current therapies.
Conclusion: The Future of Digital Health Is Designed Today
We return with our bags full of ideas, strategic alliances, and a reinforced conviction: digital health is not about forcing a patient to adapt to a tool, but about ensuring the tool honors the real needs of the patient and their family.
